Pointed Toe Heels

Pointed toe heels are all the rage right now. Their vintage silhouette goes well with many of the current trends. Pointed toe heels can make almost any outfit appear more chic and elegant. They also make your legs appear long, which is a huge plus if you are lacking in height like me. I find they go best with skinny jeans, skater skirts, and dresses, however they can really be worn with anything. Also white heels are very in for spring. They make any outfit look more like spring time and are a refreshing way to leave winters dark palette behind.

Here are some of the outfits I have paired these adorable cream heels from ALDO with:

Here are celebrities wearing them:

Converting your Wardrobe from Winter to Spring

Here are five helpful tips on transitioning into spring fashion.

1. Pastel Cardigans

Trade in your black or grey cardigan for a fun pastel colored one! It will keep you just as warm and cozy, while standing out in all the dark colors.

                                                                                                                         2. Trade in black stilettos for white onesThrow those black stilettos you have worn all winter in the closet and trade them for white. White heels are a true statement item and look so chic with pastel clothing.

3. Pair winter cropped sweaters with shorts or skirts

Cropped sweaters were a huge trend for winter and are continuing through spring. They look so adorable with a skater skirt or a pair of high waist shorts. Perfect for transitioning from winter clothes into warmer weather trends.

4. Pair high waisted jeans with a cute crop top

When the temperature is still cooler jeans are still a hot trend. To make them more spring like by pairing them with a cute spring crop top.

Floral seems to  always be in for spring. Light colored floral is very popular, and floral with daisies and sunflowers is extremely in.

Pearls & lace

It is a beautiful Monday in February. To celebrate the beautiful day I have decide to leave my winter darks behind and start transitioning into spring. I chose white and a light pastel pink. February is the month of pink so it only felt right to wear pink. I love pairing lacy pink blouses with pearls. It really brings out the girly in the lace. Do you guys like lace and pearls together? Comment below. :)

White Skater Skirt

Over my winter break, I made this white skater skirt. I have been on a fashion hunt for a white skater skirt for over a year now. Since I couldn't find one, naturally being a fashion design student, I decided to make my own! I am so happy with how it turned out. I was inspired by Ariana Grande's white skirt at Jingle Ball 2013.
White Skater skirts are perfect for winter, spring, and summer. They really add brightness to all the dark colors and are perfect for pairing with all of the pastel crop tops that are in for spring.
